Heavy Diesel Mechanic Application

Full-time - $36.04 / hour    \     Location: Kalihi & Nanakuli positions available

Pineridge Farms Inc,. is the largest construction trucking company on the island of Oahu. We feature a fleet of 75+ power units consisting of Tandems, Super Dumps, Super Tandems, Semi End Dumps, Water Trucks, Conveyor Trucks, Lowboy Trailers, Flatrack Trailers.

Responsibilities:

•Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines. Engines in our fleet include: Caterpillar, Cummins, Paccar, Mack, and Volvo.

•Overhaul and repair clutches, transmissions, and differentials.

•Overhaul and repair all major power systems including: cooling systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, and others.

•Installation of engines, transmissions, and other truck components.

•Deal with coworkers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.

•Ability to share your knowledge and skills amongst peers.

•Ability to give instructions and guidance to mechanic helpers as needed.

•Maintain good performance standards.

•Perform preventative maintenance

•Clean work area and keep shop areas clean at all times

Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or Equivalent

•A/C Certification is preferred

•Valid Driver's License and CDL preferred

•Dependable and reliable attendance is required.

•Experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Paccar, Mack, and Volvo preferred

Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to lift tools, machine parts, and other heavy objects between 50-80 pounds.

•Must be able to endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, stopping, and reaching.

•Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
